This is another art journal for my friend for Christmas. She loves faries and dragonflies so I decided to put both on her journal. I also added affirmations to encourage her when her art critic is giving her a hard time. I used hand painted papers, gel medium with stencils to create texture, acrylic paints and added jewels to give it a little bling.  I tied a fairy charm on her bookmark for good luck. I hope she has fun putting her inspirations in this journal and then lets the magic happen!

This painting is 15X28 inches on Arches paper. I textured the background with gel medium and painted it with liquid acrylics. The figure on the left I collaged with found papers. The rest of the painting is painted with watercolor.
