The background colors on these two pieces actually do match.  I photographed them both at the same time so I have no idea why the background colors came out different , but . . . they did.  : /

ITALIAN LAKE SCENE by Dottie Martz Acrylics on folding screen

We visited this lovely place when we were in Italy. I loved all the flowers and the balmy breezes off the lake. it was summer and wonderful. I could live there! Of course, I know it snows, but, we are not talking about that. I painted this on a 3-panel folding Screen for a show and sold it the very first thing! I could have sold 4 more! The screen was found in an antique shop in Hampton several years ago and I didn't know what to paint on it until I went through my travel photos and found this scene.
