This is a 12 X12 inch painting on canvas in acrylic paints with collage. My dad was a clock maker and a jeweler. This painting was done using his watch parts. The litlle man was two clock keys put together and various clock hands painted around, an antique pocket watch and a clock face collaged onto the canvas, also various clock parts scattered around. The elephant represents my mom, who collects elephants, and the monkey on her back is me! The other monkey on the clock hand represents my brother. The writing says "Time is like a circus...always packing up and moving away." Can you beleive it is almost 2011? It sounds so futuristic and yet here it is!
