This landscape is unusual for me, but it begged to be created. The clouds float above the magenta mountains and sage studded mesas. Due to the layers of resin and acrylic the clouds actually create their own shadows within the piece.

This one is spectacular.

This side of the sculpture shows the butterflies and the music represents the dance of the butterflies.

  

         

This sculpture is two sided. On this side you see the rain forest where the butterflies live in Mexico. Each layer of acrylic is painted and then the layers are fused using resin. The steel base is coordinated with a copper colored patina.
