This little piece was created a piece of map glued on paper (collage), then by moving watercolor washes across the surface to see what pops up.

Midnight Dance is a small watercolor, created on 5" x 7" watercolor paper.

This little abstract painting started as gestural drawing of a horse.

I added several washes, and suddenly the dancers appeared. 

They are celebrating life through it's many ups and downs, its bright moments and its darkest.
