"Welcome to My Lair" by Terry Honstead

This dragon was painted on a regular size door.  I hope to use a glass door knob for the handle (if I can find one!)  I plan on getting a door jam for around it and make that as the outside of the door.  I will also get a platform for underneath to make it free standing.  It will be a door to you dreams!  Anyone interested in this or my other work can find more on http://terry-honstead.artistwebsites.com/ or email me at honstead@paulbunyan.net

Welcome To My Lair by Terry Honstead

This piece is done on a door and is shown without the doorknob in place.  It is mostly acrylic but I used a textured yellow paper on the underside of the dragon.  I also have the back side of the door painted as the back of the dragon.  It has been a long time project, but I have learned a lot from it!  If you are interested, you may email me at:honstead@paulbunyan.net
