This vibrant mixed media painting on canvas has the colors of sunset, and its simplicity in design grows on you!  The painting began with acrylic on canvas, then continued in oil paints, with some gestural marks scratched in. 

This is my first posting on the Mixed Media Artist blog, and I'll be posting my original contemporary artwork in acrylic, acrylic inks, oils and oil pastel.  Sometimes I add in some graphite (pencil) or charcoal, and occasionally some collage artwork.
