Abstract Contemporary Mixed Media Art Painting “Fade Away” by Santa Fe Contemporary Artist Sandra Duran Wilson

Fade Away is a real mixed media piece. There are so many layers in here including Gampi tissue, transfers, drawing, watercolor and acrylic. The images fade in and out of focus and the painting on panel packs an impression. The exact framed dimension in the black wood floater frame is 8.25x8.25x1" and it has a resin finish.

Study with Sandra Duran Wilson in Santa Fe New Mexico June 20-23!

It's Summer Art Retreat time again! This June paint camp has become a tradition, with many artists returning every year. This year we are going to spend some time really developing the surface, finetuning our brushwork, palette knife applications, shaper tools and more. We'll even make some of our own tools, play with some plaster and cast some clay elements. Bush the boundaries with composition concepts, practice blending techniques and learn how to develop shadows and highlights. Space is limited so register soon. I look forward to sharing new paints, materials and products with you. All supplies are included including some larger size surfaces to work on. Simply show up with your curiosity.
