This cross, "Color my Faith" , is one in my cross series that is painted with wax on wood. Because the cross has been painted with special wax used for encaustic it will not melt. Encaustic is a medium that is about three thousand years old and valued because of it's permanence and how vibrant the colors remain. They are a wonderful and unique addition to a cross collection or the perfect beginning of one. S/H included
