"Robins Nest" Contemporary Abstract Painting By Donna Holdsworth

This painting is done on 14x11 textured stretched canvas.  Multiple acrylic glazes (I stopped counting after 7!) and washes add depth.  Texture compound and gel used too.  The egg is made from egg shell, gel and gloss medium.  I tried using string gel for the nest, but that was a fiasco so I used gel instead.  Sides painted a rich expresso for an unframed presentation.  UV satin finish, except for the focal area, where I used gloss.  Purchase Info Here, or visit my BLOG:  Donna Holdsworth Contemporary Art.  Thank you!
