The word rune has many meanings. Runes can be symbols of language and also stones used in meditation and prognostication. A rune is also a mystery. This series features the organic shapes, outlines and marks made by imbedding a variety stones, rocks and gravel in acrylic media and then removing them. There is inherent unpredictability in creating this series.
