RIPE PEARS, oils 9x12 by Dottie Martz

This IS the final rendition of these pears! I re-worked these at least four times before I was satisfied. I would look at it the mirror (if you hold your work up in front of a mirror you can see things clearer!) and I would always see something to change. I changed the color of the grapes from blue to red and re-did several leaves and took out one...Now I am pleased...finally! On to the next painting...
