This is stage one of this painting: I will probably "tweak" this some more after I look at it for a few days. Sometimes, the highlights fade and they need to be punched up some more...or...you need to push something back...I have been known to "tweak" a painting that was weeks old. That is the wonder of oils! Of course, at some point, you have to say...enough and move on to the next painting!

These pears look so delicious in the store...I loved all the bright red on the big one! The beauty of painting fruit...you get to eat it when you are through!
