This painting is done in what is called a 'cruciform' style and it has become, through many twists and turns taken on the suggested form of a cross. It could be also interpreted as a painting done in quadrants. I have used blue painters tape, white duct tape, oil sticks, collage, acrylics and oils. Superimposed on the art is the work 'YOU". What I love about abstracts is that the viewer can interpret whatever his or her mind sees. This splasy, loose technique is a lot of fun to paint using different layers of colors and shapes.
